I got tired of the old site and the old CMS and the old everything, so I redid the entire site. If you for some reason want to visit the old pages you can go here to check them out.
Games Aren't Numbers is run using the Django python framework, which is pretty good for most things. However I had to rewrite one of its template filters to suit my needs better. Here's the source for "linebreaks_smart," my improved version of "linebreaks."
I just today launched a brand new site. It's about none other than the most overlooked topic on the internet, video games! So head over to gamesarentnumbers.com and read whatever it is I have to say there.
I've noticed that I've written a bunch of Greasemonkey scripts now and decided that I should consolidate their information onto a single page. Go ahead and check it out. I included an introduction for people who are new to the concept, and sooner or later I'll get around to making the sections for each script more uniform.
I also made a new script, OpenID Autocomplete. Check that out too if you want.
After months of not working I have finally updated my Youtube Cleaner script. The latest version includes options to toggle certain sections in the Tools > Greasemonkey > User Script Commands menu, and it automatically saves your choices so you don't have to click it every time!
Speaking of scripts, I'd like to point out that my Add helpful icons to links script is basically obsolete due to the Link Alert extension existing. I completely recommend switching over to that option.
Recently I threw together some code to create the Operation x264 Analysis Project. It's very underdeveloped but gets the job done, so have fun with it. I guess.
I frequently change a lot of code here which often causes the entire site to crash. I usually fix it within an hour but since I'd like to keep 100% uptime when possible I have set up beta.tankadillo.com to act as a sandbox for my random dabblings. Most changes will be entirely in the background code but you're free to check and see if any new improvements are on the way.
I started writing my short list of animated movies people should watch without a goal in mind and the document kept growing longer and longer and without any focus. Eventually it had rambled on for so long that I simply chose to end it as soon as I could. I would like to have included more information and a longer list of films but these were ones I had available off-hand. I know there are plenty of other obscure movies that deserve to be mentioned, probably more deserving than these, but I'll publish this document as the brief incomplete writing it is and I'll leave it as that.
I wrote a few more reviews recently, and being the clever and original writer I am I decided to write about video games, the subject that definitely hasn't been covered by 99% of the internet already.
I hope you enjoy reading my doubtlessly misinformed judgments of hot titles like Halo 3 (I also hope mentioning that name boosts my rank in the blogosphere!)
If not, don't read this page! Reading someone else's mail is a crime you know. I couldn't find the Internet's mailing address so I just put this letter here.
